As a business owner we have to follow the market trends. We may not adapt to every trend that is going on but we still want to see what is trending, you know, to check out what the “cool kids” are up to. Personally, I took a hard pass on the glow up that cauliflower has been going through, But I did vibe with cutting out a little red meat from my own diet. And I might not drink my coffee with a big O’l spoonful of ghee in my cup, but if that’s your thang, butter up your cups my friends, butter them up. Just a few years ago I would always get funny looks when I would tell people that I don’t drink alcohol. Now, flashforward to 2023, and Mocktail recipes are one of the hottest Google trends in the market today. On average we are seeing 40-45k unique searches for booze free cocktails! On one hand we’ve got millennials that grew up watching the adults around them get sloshed. And on the other hand, people my age, the over the 40 crowd, well they’re tired of waking up with a hangover that feels like you’ve been kicked in the head with a size Shaq sneaker. And even though I don’t sip on the champagne bubbly. That doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy a nice little buzz from time to time. So here are 4 Infused Mocktail Recipes that slap!

Summer Sandia
Nobody needs to get finger tattoos or have a degree in mixology to make a great mocktail. And sometimes the most simplistic recipes are proven fan favorites. This one hits all of the marks in flavor and ease. And it will impress the most jaded of bartenders in the business. I mean really, what’s more refreshing than ice cold watermelon?
Let’s talk about the glass: You can absolutely put this in any glass that you prefer. Pint glass, rocks glass, tall glass, whatever you got. But if one of the glasses that you have laying around is an old Mason Jar. Or an old jelly jar, then let’s use that one.
Ingredients:
Watermelon Juice
Lime Wedges
Kosher Salt
Fresh Basil
Simple Syrup
CBDism Water Soluble Relief Tincture
Get you some nice plump and fresh watermelon and juice it using your preferred method. If you have a juicer, use that. If all that you have is a blender, use that. If your preferred method is to just buy fresh watermelon juice, then use that! Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dress with kosher salt. Fill your glass up with ice, crushed if you got it. Squeeze in a couple of your lime wedges over your ice. Add in about a ¼ oz of whatever sweetener that you dig. Honey, agave, simple syrup or even no sweetener. Pour in your watermelon juice. And today’s secret ingredient, 1ml of water soluble D8 tincture from D Squared. Give it a nice stir, garnish with a lime wedge. Or if you wanna be fancy, some fresh basil. Now just sit back and watch people light up as they take their first sip.
Notes: You can be as bougie as you would like. Fresh sliced cucumber would pair amazing in this recipe. As well as some nice jalapeno slices for those who like a little spice. And the most important thing, aside from having fun, is that with the water soluble tincture from CBDism. You can mix that into any recipe or beverage that you have in the house!
Blackberry Ginger Bite
Having a business and a little one at the house, I’m a fan of “work smarter, not harder.” And if there is one place my wife will let me cheat. It is for sure in the kitchen. This recipe will make you look like your best friends with Martha Stewart. But it makes you feel like you have been hanging out with Snoop.
Let’s talk about the glass: Again, use whatever you got. But if what you got happens to be a short squatty rocks glass, then let’s use that.
Ingredients:
Fresh Blackberries
Lemon Wedges
Thyme
Sugar
Ginger Ale
Club Soda
Lil Bit D9 Seltzer Canna Berry
I might list this mocktail in my top ten favorites. But I promise you, this recipe is easier than getting a refund from Doordash. Grab your rocks glass and add in about 5 or 6 fresh blackberries, along with a lemon wedge. Pour in a white sugar packet or a teaspoon of whatever sugar that you got. Muddle all of this together, aka, get your smash on. If you don’t have a muddler, use a fat spoon or the handle of one of your many kitchen accessories. Fill your glass up with some ice. Now add equal parts ginger ale, regular club soda, and the feel good ingredient of the day, one can Lil Bit Canna Berry. Really, you could also use Lil Bit Cherry Lemonade but my preferred is definitely Canna Berry. Stir and garnish with a sprig of thyme. You better get ready because this drink is relaxing as it is delicious.
Notes: You are the captain of your own ship and you can make this whip however you like. You can easily sub out the blackberries for pineapple. And the white sugar for pure cane sugar, brown sugar or maple sugar if you can find it. Try it with rosemary or basil or no herbs at all.
Cucumber Mint Spritz
We’re going to leave all of the work out of this one. If you can slice fruits and vegetables, then you can make this super fresh mocktail. It is low on calories and huge on making me not care if I do want that slice of cake later on tonight. It might be the perfect anytime spritzer.
Let’s talk about the glass: Listen, live your life the best way that fits you. But if you just happen to have like one of those stemless red wine glasses knocking around. Then let’s use that one for this amazing drink.
Ingredients:
Cucumber Wheels
Lemon Wheels
Fresh Mint
Simple Syrup
Blitzd Lime D9 THC Seltzer
I don’t know if you know this, but peas and carrots don’t even go together as good as mint and cucumber do. Now throw in some lime, and it really isn’t even fair. Take your glass and fill it half way with some finely crushed ice. If your ice maker doesn’t have this option, just put some ice in a freezer bag and beat it with a rolling pin. Add in a few slices of thin cucumber wheels. And while we’re making wheels, slice up and add in some lemon wheels as well. Pluck off as much fresh mint as it takes to make you happy. Pour in about a ¼ oz of simple syrup or whatever sweetener gets your fix going. Fill up your glass with the Lime D9 Seltzer from Blitz Seltzers. Stir, and that is it ya’ll. Simple, crisp, and a few of these will have you talking to your neighbors that you avoid in the mornings.
Notes: I love these easy and quick recipes. And Blitz makes it so easy to impress your friends. You can use the Blood Orange with fresh cut grapefruit. Or the Blitz Mango with fresh habaneros, peach candy rings and a tajin salted rim. You won’t believe how just a few ingredients can have such powerful effects.
Sparkling Pina
For those of you who cannot indulge in THC, or just have some things to do for the day. This recipe is completely THC FREE and infused with enhanced terpenes and CBD. It makes me think of Cancun and poor decisions but memories that will last a lifetime. And if it wasn’t easy to make, it would not have been included in this list.
Let’s talk about the glass: Of course any glass will work. But I want to be taken back to Coco Bongo where I forgot about as much as I remember. So if you got a curvy daiquiri glass in the house. That is the one that we are using.
Ingredients:
Coco Lopez Cream Of Coconut
Dole Pineapple juice
Fresh Pineapple
Crescent D9 Seltzer Tropical
Break out the paper umbrellas, because this mood enhancing mocktail will get you motivated to take on the day. Pour in about 2 oz of Coco Lopez cream of coconut into your curvy glass. Add in about 2 to 3 oz of some good pineapple juice. The real stuff, not that Great Value brand from Walmart. I’m talking about 100% pineapple juice from Dole. Get some cubed ice and fill almost to the top. Next we’ll fill up with the Crescent D9 Seltzer. Stir and garnish with a chunk of fresh pineapple. And that is it, so simple but damn it’s delicious.
Notes: I like toasting up some fresh coconut to use as garnish around the rim of the glass. The Crescent seltzers come in 2 unique flavors and each one can easily be made into a THC mocktail. Blended with true sativa terpenes, they are fantastic for an extra long day. Or when you really need to focus on your project at hand.
